An AI mirror for the way you decide.
It reads your behaviour, distills your thinking habits and decision patterns — then hands them back to you. But it doesn't stop at describing you. It has to answer a second question: why do you always decide this way? And what else could you have done?
Most people think they know themselves. But most of your decisions are a fixed pattern repeating itself below the level of awareness — built out of your past, what you fear, and where you habitually go looking for evidence. You can't see it, because you are standing inside it.
"An 'AI person' works by summarizing a person's behaviour into a personality, then using that personality model to reason about their next decision. I call that process MirrorAI."
Jerry Jin · founder of MirrorAI
Your decisions are more predictable than you think — you just don't know the pattern. MirrorAI puts the pattern in front of you, so you can finally see yourself from outside.
A mirror that only says "this is who you are" pins you down. A useful mirror has to answer: why do I always decide this way? And what else is possible?
No ranking, no scores, no who's cleverer. It asks one thing: compared with yesterday, are you more decisive, more capable, more free?
"I call the process of getting to know and adjusting yourself Mirror AI: using AI to look at yourself in the mirror, and changing yourself while you look. I bring my experience and my thinking to the AI, and I carry what I understood back into life, and I test it there with action."
This is step one of MirrorAI: a personality check. 12 questions, about a minute. It doesn't measure how smart you are. It measures four things —
how much you hand over, how much you grow yourself, how well you know your own inertia, and whether you actually change after looking in the mirror.
One thing worth stating up front: the first two are scored separately. How much you hand over and how much you grow are two different things. Some people lean on AI heavily and get steadily worse at judging. Others delegate heavily and come out stronger and lighter. This check exists to surface that difference — we call it the scissors gap.
"By 'AI person' I mean someone who, in the course of merging with AI continuously, lets themselves change. Compared with who you were: are you more decisive, more creative, more free — and happier?"
Jerry Jin · the "AI person" definition, Human 2030
If you've used another framework to make sense of yourself before, you can note it here. It feeds into no calculation — not the question count, not the four dimensions, not the scissors gap, not the type; and we won't use it to infer your personality either. Both fields can be left blank.
These systems can't be converted into one another, and this site doesn't convert them; they are also not the same thing as the four dimensions below. Anything you type stays on this page — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server.
The personality check is step one. A fuller MirrorAI comes next: keeping a record of your decisions, giving you a heads-up before an important one, and helping turn "seeing it" into "changing it". None of that has shipped yet.
The newsletter isn't wired up, so there's no signup box here — we don't want you handing over an address and then hearing nothing. (Writing to us directly does work; the addresses below reach a real inbox.) When the newsletter actually sends, we'll add it. Until then, here's how to keep up:
A Chinese-language channel with 100,000+ readers and viewers, where MirrorAI progress gets posted first. This page is the English door into the same work.
An open, arguable projection of what happens to humans — available in English too. Everything MirrorAI thinks gets challenged and revised there.
